We want this site to work for everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
What we target
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. Concretely, that includes:
- Full keyboard operability, including menus, forms, and the image viewer, with visible focus indicators throughout.
- Semantic landmarks and heading structure, with a skip link to main content on every page.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- Real form labels, clear error messaging, and status updates announced to assistive technology.
- Respect for your reduced-motion preference — enabling it disables every animation on the site.
- The site remains fully readable and navigable with JavaScript disabled.
